Team SitStay is adding 2-3 part time passionate dog people to our line up. All positions will work onsite at our Lincoln, Nebraska location. Open positions include:

  • Retail/customer service team
  • Fulfillment - Packing order for our online customers.
  • e-Commerce Intern

Retail / Customer Service Team Member

We’re looking for energetic, outgoing dog lovers to work 2-4 evenings per week and up to 1-2 weekend shifts per month. Hours are 2-6p on weekdays and 10a-2p on Saturdays.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting customers to find the right dog supplies for their needs
  • Cash handling and cash reconciliation
  • Greeting customers and creating a positive relationship with customers
  • Maintaining inventory stock levels, store cleanliness and professional presentation
  • Contributing to social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Staffing events such as dog expos, charity events and local trade shows
  • Picking and packing orders for online customers

What else do you need to know?

  • We do quite a bit of lifting - max 40 lbs.
  • We’re standing on our feet all of the time.
  • Must be computer, tablet, and phone savvy.

It’d be a bonus if you have done these things or know about these topics:

  • Experience with working dogs, such as service dogs and/or therapy dogs
  • Work or volunteer with a rescue, shelter or animal welfare organization
  • Know about dog training
  • Know about canine nutritional needs
  • Adopted or fostered dogs
  • Worked in a retail setting
  • Experience managing or contributing to social media for an organization or business

Warehouse / Shipping Team Member

We're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented dog lover to work in our warehouse and shipping department 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Accuracy and attention to detail are very important for this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Selecting products for online customers, then packaging orders for shipment
  • Receiving new inventory into the warehouse, tracking location and item count
  • Monitor inventory and maintain accurate product counts.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting customers to find the right dog supplies for their needs
  • Cash handling and cash reconciliation
  • Greeting customers and creating a positive relationship with customers

e-Commerce Intern 

Do you love dogs? Do you love humans who have dogs? Do you want to help both of them find the right treats, toys, supplement, or gear? We’re looking for an e-commerce intern to optimize to our website so that people can more easily find what they need. Hours are flexible. This internship is specific to one project that can be completed in one semester.

Responsibilities include:

Managing implementation of product selection functionality on our website. This project includes mapping customer experience and coordinating with a developer to create a smooth and easy shopping experience on SitStay.com. (Coding experience not required.)

    It’d be a bonus if you have done these things or know about these topics:

    • Web content management 
    • SEO and SEM
    • Experience with working dogs, such as service dogs and/or therapy dogs
    • Work or volunteer with a rescue, shelter or animal welfare organization
    • Know about dog training
    • Know about canine nutritional needs
