Eliminate hair and skin damage now with a Chris Christensen Systems' Show Dog Brush. Three custom designed pin brushes for a variety of coat lengths, textures and fullness.
Each brush has a body made of Beechwood, a light weight hardwood that won't break easily, and a handle designed for superb leverage, omitting stress and fatigue. Each brush is 8.5 inches long. The supple, relaxed pin cushions are tuned according to the specific pin lengths of each brush, designed to give at the proper point, eliminating hair breakage. The Stainless Steel pins have been ground and polished at the tips. These brushes don't use plastic balls at the end that wear off like lesser brushes. Each pin is actually ground and polished.
NOTE: The pin cushions are designed with an airhole that allows the cushion to gently flex as you use the brush. This is not a defect nor is it the result of a missing pin.
Take The Tip Test:
Take the brush you have been using and run the pins down your arm. Without a ground and polished tip you will see scratches on your arm. They are very irritating to the skin and they damage the hair. If you were to look at those tips under a magnifier you would see that they look like blades of a saw (which will break and cut your dog's hair). In many cases when you see dander after brushing it is not dander at all, it is skin that you have grated off while brushing, just like the scratches you now have on your arm. Take that brush that you have just scratched your arm with and make a hundred strokes like you do when you brush your dog. See how irritated and flaky your skin will be after that.
Now, take any of Chris Christensen Systems' brushes and run the pins down your arm. You won't find a scratch, no matter how hard or how many times you run that brush down your arm.
