Curl up and snuggle. That's what your dog will do in this nest bed. It's cozy, comfortable and has a big bolster for resting a tired head after a long day. Big Shrimpy beds were inspired by all the dog beds that are quickly thrown away because they get stinky, dirty, wear out, or their material can't survive the washing machine. These beds are machine washable and dryable. The Big Shrimpy dog bed is stuffed thick and heavy with SmartFill recycled fiber.

SmartFill is a dense, cushiony fiber that makes these beds feel more substantial when compared to most other beds. Because SmartFill is made of many individual tufts of fiber, the beds can be opened up and “refluffed” to restore the loft of the fiber. This bed can be entirely disassembled, machine washed and dried. This bed is not chew proof. If your dog chews fabric, it's not a good choice for you.

The durable outer cover has a water-resistant 420 denier packcloth base and a comfortable faux suede or soft fleece sleeping surface. The inner liner is a ripstop nylon that is odor and liquid resistant. Machine washable and dryable, and with component parts available separately, this could be the last dog bed you'll ever need to buy. NOTE: Because of the heavy duty fabric used, you may hear an occasional "crinkle" sound when your dog is settling in for a snooze or moving around.

Washing Instructions

Washing a Big Shrimpy Nest Bed is easy and it smells so nice and fresh when it's all back together! Simply follow these instructions.

1. Unzip the cover to remove the filled inner liner. The outer bolster of the Nest may be unzipped to remove its filled liner too.
2. Unzip filled inner liner.
3. Remove the SmartFill.
4. The outer cover and empty inner liner may be washed in your home washing machine or at a laundromat.
5. We recommend that SmartFill be washed and dried at a laundromat. It should be washed loose, separately from the outer cover and inner liner.
6. All parts may be washed in warm water using a gentle soap that will not irritate your pet’s coat.
7. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not over-dry.
