What makes our service dog vests for sale so special?

These service dog capes are made with pride in the USA by Wolf Packs, the leader in the industry. The high performance materials used to make these products have been proven over decades of use. Uncompromising attention to detail during construction leads to superior durability. We often hear of vests being handed down to successor working companion animals many years after they were first put into service.

Which high performance materials are used to make our service dog vests?
Wherever possible American made materials from time tested manufacturers are used for the construction of our service dog vests. These include domestically manufactured DuPont 1000D Cordura fabric, American made Scotchlite 3M reflective tape, and high quality domestic thread. Large, easy to grab, nearly silent rubber zipper pull tabs are made especially for these items. The unique rubber zipper tabs provide an often necessary larger surface grip, allowing easier access to the pocket contents. Unlike other companies, we do not use inexpensive imported materials because they do not pass their rigorous durability testing.

Where are these service dog vests made?
The service dog vests for sale we sell are proudly produced in the USA, specifically in Oregon. They are sewn by talented individuals who have been sewing them for decades. Multiple American families are supported through your purchase of these products.

Are the products you sell covered by a warranty?
All of the products we sell are manufactured by Wolf Packs. They are guaranteed to be free of defects in both workmanship and materials. If at any time a product should prove defective through the course of normal use, please contact us to arrange a return. If it qualifies under the warranty, the item will then be repaired or replaced (our option) free of charge. If the failure is due to damage or general wear and tear, we will be happy to repair it for a nominal fee.

Wear and tear such as lost buckles or chew damage from dogs are not covered.

Sizing

The most important thing you can do to make sure you order the right service / therapy dog vest is to measure your dog using the instructions below. If you don't measure, you're taking a chance that you'll have to return it and reorder. Measure your dog once and you'll be done! Use a soft fabric measuring tape. Measure all the way around the rib cage, full circle. Just like a saddle fits a horse. Your dog must be standing.

NOTE: If you have a really small dog, the Tiny vest can be altered to fit. Cut a strip out and sew it back together with a sewing machine. This will allow you to go down to a 9 inch girth.

Please Note:

It is fraudulent to represent your dog as a service animal if it is not. Here is some important information about service dogs:

Service Dog Definition: Only dogs are recognized as service animals under titles II and III of the ADA. Service Dogs are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support are known as therapy dogs. They do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. This definition does not affect or limit the broader definition of "assistance animal" under the Fair Housing Act or the broader definition of "service animal" under the Air Carrier Access Act. Some State and local laws also define service animal more broadly than the ADA does. Information about such laws can be obtained from the State attorney general's office, or by visiting the ADA website

  12. Perfect fit!

Posted by Unknown on 15th Nov 2013

Originally, I requested a "small" vest and the terrific customer service rep asked a bunch of questions, and after listening, said "I really think you need a Tiny!" Boy, was she right! I never called to thank her, so now's as good a time as any! "Thanks!" The quality of the vest was excellent. The stitching was straight and heavy-duty. The color was exact to the pictures online, and the zipper was of very high quality! I would highly recommend ordering ANYTHING from "Sit-Stay"!

  13. PERFECT!

Functional! great looks, great fit! Stays in place.

  14. Best Vest on the Market!

Posted by Unknown on 15th Sep 2013

We have recently added a third Therapy Dog to our pack, and knew immediately that this vest was our top pick. Our first vest has been in weekly use for over 11 years and still looks brand new after a quick cold water wash and drip dry. The colors are bright and true and haven't faded at all. The workmanship is outstanding, and the fit and adjustment are great! If that's not enough, the price is also very reasonable compared to other options. The shipping was also very fast. Thanks for carrying such a quality product with such great color options!

  15. Love These Vests

I have one of your Small blue vests for my Therapy Dog, and it's wonderful! We are training a smaller (Chihuahua) to the same job, as my TD is getting on in years. Thank you, these are very wonderful vests!
