Sizing Instructions To get the proper size harness, you will need to measure your dog's girth. Girth is the distance around the body at the widest part of the rib cage just behind the front legs. (refer to diagram). Please measure your dog in the standing position to get the most accurate measurement.
Measure the girth using a cloth measuring tape or a piece of twine, ribbon, etc.
Choose your dog's best size using the girth ranges from the chart.

Cleaning: Sure-Fit harnesses may be laundered in your washing machine. With darker colors (such as red, green blue, black), wash separate to avoid harness dye discoloring your other items. Harnesses can also be hand washed with mild detergent and rinsed. Hang to dry.

I have tried many, many harnesses for my Chow Mix and Lab...bought at all the well known pet store chains and web sites...either they are flimsy, too tight, way too difficult to get on and off or prove uncomfortable for the dog.
