Sizing Instructions To get the proper size harness, you will need to measure your dog's girth. Girth is the distance around the body at the widest part of the rib cage just behind the front legs. (refer to diagram). Please measure your dog in the standing position to get the most accurate measurement.
Measure the girth using a cloth measuring tape or a piece of twine, ribbon, etc.

Cleaning: Sure-Fit harnesses may be laundered in your washing machine. With darker colors (such as red, green blue, black), wash separate to avoid harness dye discoloring your other items. Harnesses can also be hand washed with mild detergent and rinsed. Hang to dry.

I love this harness. It not only fits perfectly (you can adjust everything!), but it's very versatile. In addition to the listed applications, it can be used as a no-pull harness if you attach the leash to the chest ring rather than the back ring. When the dog tries to pull, their weight swings them to the side rather than straight ahead.
I also like that it's comfortable enough to leave on your dog while they run and play - my other harness (Premier Easy Walk)does a good job of preventing pulling, but isn't designed to be left on or for activities other than walking.

We bought what we thought was the best harness ever from EZ Dog, but our Alfie just couldn't like it. He was less than happy when we walked him wearing that harness.
