| Not nearly difficult enough |
Date: May 1, 2010 |
Although a good idea in theory, my dog can get 1 cup of food out of this device in less than 1 minute. Wish I would have known that kibble just spills out of the ends, since I was looking for something more challenging.
I bought this a year ago from amazon and it is currently collecting dust. To sitstay.com's credit, the video clearly shows how large the product is and how easily food comes out.
The Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball works for my dog, although it only holds about 1 cup of food and I had to drill holes in the bottom to let water out after cleaning.

| Love this toy! |
Date: July 30, 2010 |
I would recommend this to a friend
This was the first interactive toy I got for my Mastiff puppy and he loves it! He wants nothing to do with any other interactive toy. The more food that is inside, the faster they will fall out. I generally fill it half way and he has a blast with it. It is a pretty large toy so even filling it half way holds about a half cup of food. I have not been able to find any other interactive toy that lasts as long and keeps the food inside as long.

| Keep your eye on your dog when he plays with this |

We got one of these from SitStay and need another one. I gave my basenji the Kibble Nibble inside his crate while we left for an hour of shopping. We came back, and he had unscrewed the toy (!) and then proceeded to chew on the plastic threads, rendering the toy damaged beyond use. These are absolutely great to keep your dog occupied, but do supervise its use!

| Eats Too Fast |

My Chow Chow was eating too fast. This ball helped her to eat slower and gave her some fun in playing with the ball. Her kibble was large enough to take some work to get it out. Treats would work too - but it's a fun thing. Reminds me of the "pop, pop" lawnmower for children - it can be fun to play with even if the treats are too large to fall out. Now that we've grown up - its just a fun toy to bat around once in awhile with some BIG treats in it that don't fall out, but make noise.

| Noisy! |

This is OK as a food dispensing toy, but it makes so much noise if you have hard floors! Because of this we rarely use it unless I am sure that my downstairs neighbor isn't home. I have several other food dispensing toys that are just as fun for my dog and make a lot less noise than this one.
