"I train service dogs for special needs kids. This Web Master harness is absolutely perfect! I've told all my fellow trainers about it so please expect many more orders! It's great for our Autistic Kids, THANK YOU!!!"

"The Web Master harness was an absolute God-send when my 60 pound dog was recovering from an ACL repair. It saved her so much pain by me being able to easily assist her in getting up, transporting, ambulating, etc. It's a marvelous product!"
--- Cindy
Sizing Instructions
The most important measurement is Girth. Girth is the distance around the body at the widest part of the rib cage. Length is the length of the top of the harness.
Measure the girth.
Choose your dog's best size using the girth and length from the chart.
This harness not only adjusts, it has elastic inserts for comfort, Abby really likes those. It looks great too. The Handle is just the right size to hold onto when I'm getting up, but not too large as to get in the way. My Abby is a 40lb pembroke welsh corgi, large for her breed not too fat. She is low to the ground which helps her balance, the harness attaches around the chest and waist to spread out the strain of me pulling on her when I stand up or sit down. Abby even fell asleep in this Harness, she is usually trying to get out of her old one once we are home and I'm out of my wheelchair.
My dog is nearly 15 with arthritis disfiguring in her paws. She has had two bouts of canine vestibular disease. These have left her with balance problems but she still is a happy dog, ready to go where ever I go. Stairs are a major hurdle for her but she does not want to be carried, it is embarrasing. She has the strength but not the balance to do them on her own. This harness is apparently comfortable and very stable when I need to grab the handle and provide support for her to navigate stairs. The one downside is the SitStay Website Search Engine. If you type in 'harness' this will not be displayed. You have to know you want this item.
I just bought our third harness, having finally managed to wear one out and that was with the help of some strategically placed gnawing by a canine guest. Both our large dogs (Great Dane & Doberman) use these harnesses daily for trail walks and running with the bike (using a WalkyDog device). One harness has been used nearly 7 days a week for 3 years, the other for 18 months and they hold up beautifully. They also clean up easily and most importantly, the dogs are happy to don them and seem to find them very comfortable. The reflective piping, strong construction, leash hook-up options and other good design features add to the value of this product.
Purchased this vest for my dog to apply service dog tags to, however it comes in handy for so much more! Love the adjustability and the comfort on her, also like the propel loop in the back comes in handy for lifting and grabing her as well.
I purchased this harness just prior to my Rottweiler having TPLO surgery for a torn ACL. I don't know what I would have done without it. It allowed me to safely help him up and down steps and keep him under my control when walking. The safe recovery from that type of surgery is so important. He is 100 lbs. and the Large fit him. His orthopedic surgeon also recommends this same harness.
I purchased this for my Girl Celeste who is Not only a Great Dane but my Medical Alert and Mobility Assistance Dog. When it arrived I was THRILLED. the bright red stands out against her Black and White and is enough to say "I am a Service Dog" with the patches there is no denying it. the handle gives me great support when I grip and have her assist me to stand on bad days and comfort if I feel unstable. I have 4 patches on it One round 3 crecent exactly it fits her great and she LOVES it and yet despises harnesses, when this wears out I will be getting another thank you Sit Stay!
My dog is so strong that when we walked I would have to pull on his neck so hard that I was afraid I would choke him. Now he won't walk without his harness. He loves it and so did I.
I'm giving this 4 stars only because it is imported. I'd rather have stuff made in USA.
Drawbacks are minor. The first adjustment out of the package is a pain. The girth straps loosen up after a day or two so they need to be re-adjusted. A minor drag...I guess I could sew on a snap. Secondly, hair sticks to it big time. You might want to get two so you have one between washes.
If you are between sizes get the smaller one except if you have a LONG back dog like a corgi or doxie. The straps are very soft, the handle is sturdy, in fact the whole thing is very well built. It stands up to dirt, the washer and time. I wish I bought this first instead of trying every type of web harness. Dogs are comfortable with these, mine wear them all day long in summer or winter. I have four dogs and need as much control as possible during walks, in & out of the car, at the bark park and when training. The reflective trim REALLY lights up even with just a flashlight. Easy to put on and take off once you figure it out. These also work as car harness. Invest in these you won't be sorry!
