Double the fun with this Double Tug Bumper. No need for squeakers with this bad boy. Each is handcrafted so no two are exactly alike. Body is nearly 11 inches long with a 6 inch nylon handle on each end. Everybody get a good grip and then pull! Lots of nice bright colors....we'll pick a good one for you!

Good tug, needs better handles Date: July 23, 2011

Thor is a 10 month old German Shepherd. He loves tug but he also loves to chew and shred. The middle of this tug is tough but soft enough that he can get a good grip on it. We typically hold both handles and make him grab the middle. The problem is the handles. They fray very easily if your dog likes to chew. Thor quickly figured out that the handles are the weak spot and started chewing on them. The very first time we used it he managed to fray one handle significantly in about 30 seconds. I will not allow him to play with it unsupervised now and we also encourage him to only grab the thick middle part. That seems to be working. Otherwise this tug is holding up much better than the braided ropes we were using before. Plus the handles are comfortable to hold and don't get really slimy like the rope toys do.
