CARE: Machine wash gentle with a gentle detergent, hang dry
Head out on the highway biker style or just for a very cool walk around the block! Doggles coats match the popular eyewear we've carried for years. This coat will help protect your dog from harsh weather and act as an effective sun block. Doggles and Doggles K9 Klothes, cool stuff! Your dog is going to love it whether you walk the neighborhood or love the wind in your face. These jackets may make your dog look pretty tough, but they're actually soft and cuddly and won't stand up to a lot of rough treatment. If you need a tougher coat check out the K-9 Overcoat.
Measuring Your Dog The most important measurement is Girth. Girth is the distance around the body at the widest part of the rib cage (see the diagram provided below). After measuring your dog's girth you will also need your dog's length. Length is measured from the base of the collar to the spot where the tail joins the body. Your dog should be standing upright and square, not sitting or slouching. This measurement provides a coat length guideline for your dog. After getting your dog's measurements use the table below to help determine the proper size of jacket for your dog.
How to Measure for Best Fit
Girth=measurement around widest part of rib cage Length= measurement from base of neck to base of tail
To help you decide if one of these coats will fit your dog, we've provided chest girth measurements. We've measured the chest girth of each coat at the widest part of the rib cage. You want the chest girth of the dog to be within the girth of the coat. We've also included the length of the jacket for your reference. If your dog is long and skinny you can go with a shorter coat to get a better girth fit (or you may decide that these coats aren't right for your dog)
