  • Challenging and fun
  • Develops your dog's intelligence
  • Includes three "squeaker squirrels"
  • Finally some squirrels your dog will like

The Hide-A-Squirrel is a plush toy with three squeaker toys that "hide" inside. There are several holes on the outside of the toy your dog can use to get at the hidden treasure inside. This is a toy that challenges and develops your dog's intelligence and puzzle solving skills.

We think this toy should only be used when you are there to watch and help. A frustrated dog might chew on the toys and ruin them. You don't want that. You should be there to help your dog learn how to properly use the toy and replace the squeak toys once they have been removed. Then it should be picked up when playtime is over. Replacement squirrels are only available in the regular size.

Loves the hide-a-squirrel Date: May 28, 2010
I would recommend this to a friend

Never needed coaching on how to play with the hide-a-toys that we own. It's a good thing that replacement squirrels can be obtained, since she mangles the squeakers soon enough. Loves making the squirrels squeak! Gets excited when she gets new ones.

This is really lots of fun! Date: December 16, 2010

He loves this toy - likes the log as much as the squirrels and buries his head in it with enthusiasm. Loves the squirrels, too. And the toy really does stand up to some vigorous play. We will have to replace it someday when it gets worn because he really loves this one.

I got this for my brother's dog, but my Shih Tzu wanted to check it out so I let her play with it for a few minutes. She loved it so much I felt bad taking it away. Will have to order another!

My Dog Loves This Date: May 10, 2011

This is absolutely the best toy ever. Most toys that I bring home are played with for a few days. My dog cannot get enough of Hide-A-Squirrel. I totally recommend this and will probably get another Hide A Toy very soon.

Amazeballs! Date: May 28, 2011
I would recommend this to a friend

Mama says the squirrel in my back yard is my archnemisis (no clue what that means) but all I know is that I would give anything to get my paws on him and shake him, shake him, shake him! When she gave me this toy! OMG! I thought I FINALLY caught that squirrley squirrel! I know now its just practice. Yeah, it took me a while to get him outta the tree and when I did, there were THREE! Now she has to take it away so I will take some breaks. Hehe. I don't want to. It is amazeballs!

My dog loves this toy! Date: August 15, 2011

I have a 9 month old Golden Retriever. She loves this toy! After she takes the squirrels out, she plays with the house. She tosses it around, and carries it . The squirrels are very cute. I got a large which is perfect!Anything smaller would be too small! She is 60 lbs.

Best Toy Ever Date: September 12, 2011
I would recommend this to a friend

Finding something or dogs won't tear apart in seconds has been a challenge. My family has two French Bulldogs with strong jaws and I have a young puppy with sharp pin teeth to puncture most toys. Toys don't last long here...except the Hide-A-Squirrel. All three play with the little squirrels and have caused minimal damage. One is now missing an arm, but once I pulled the arm stuffing out, it was okay for them to have another go at. These are the dogs new favorite toys and they are holding up so much better than I could have ever hoped. Plus, I love that I can buy replacements.

Hours of fun!! Date: October 29, 2011

I have a service dog and when she's done working she loves to play. This gives up tons of fun and together play time as she hides and seeks and squeaks and fetches!!!
