These are Orbee-Tuff toys with raised rubber on the exterior to make it look like a globe. The actual surface of the ball is textured and super tough. The colored portions are separate pieces molded to the main ball so there is a chance that they could be ripped or worn off after time. That hasn't put a damper on Tilli's enthusiasm for this toy! Rinses clean.

| The Orbee-tuff compound is really tough with an interesting "feel" that is difficult to describe. Orbee toys are made of an injection molded "thermo plastic elastimer". The molding process makes them hollow with holes at the ends and gives them a 1/2 inch thick membrane-like surface.
