With our dogs no run-of-the-mill rolled leather collar will do. Only the best! The RuffGrip Buffalo Collar is exactly that, the best. It uses water buffalo leather which is a nearly indestructible leather (of course if your dog chews on it, that is another story). Because this is a natural leather product, color may vary. Prolonged soaking in water (like swimming) will cause leather to "bleed" its color. These collars use the most waterproof leather so it takes a pretty good soaking to cause this to happen. Metal components are made of nickel-coated brass.
