Best used as a base for a home made diet. Add raw meat, meaty bones or a cooked meat of your choice (never cooked bones), as a base for a home made diet. This Honest Kitchen diet contains a custom vitamin-mineral mix with balanced calcium phosphorus ratios, which are vital for the maintenance of healthy cells, bones and blood.

It is ideal for dogs who are sensitive to more popular meats; exotic meats, fish or alternative protein sources may be used as required. Preference is intended for supplemental feeding only and has not been developed to meet AAFCO nutrient profiles or provide a complete & balanced diet when fed alone. Preference forms a complete and balanced meal when fed with added protein.

Meats or fish may be added to Preference at a rate of 1:1, to 2:1 depending on the age, breed and level of activity of your pet. Preference is not designed as a stand alone diet.

Preparation Instructions
One cup dehydrated food = 1 lb of fresh food
Each cup of dehydrated food should be re-hydrated with 1 to 1.25 cups of pure, warm, filtered, or tap water, or boiled water that has been allowed to cool. Add the water to the food and stir well. The product will initially resemble soup. Let stand for 10 minutes minimum, for the ingredients to re-hydrate sufficiently. Add your own ingredients if you wish (see "Serving Recommendations" below). Stir again, and serve. Any leftovers should be refrigerated or discarded.

Each 7 pound box of Preference should make about 29 3/4 pounds of fresh food.

Serving Recommendations

Senior, overweight, or less active dogs may eat the dehydrated food alone.

This food is minimally processed to preserve the natural nutrients present; the food undergoes no high heat processing or extrusion whatsoever, and is therefore a highly concentrate source of natural nutrition. This product is made with 100% human food grade ingredients. It contains no animal feed grade ingredients and is made in a USDA-inspected facility, but is intended for your dog to eat, not you!
