Finally! We've found the perfect mat! Often referred to as "veterinary bedding", these pet beds were developed as a spin-off of hospital pads developed for bed sores. Manufactured by the same producer of premium hospital pads, they are extremely cushy and the polyester fibers wick moisture away.

Since we've put one in our bathroom as a bath mat Tilli loves to sleep in the bathroom (when she's not on our bed). In the crate, in the car, or on the floor, it's the perfect resting place. Super Deluxe Palace Pet Beds are 1.25" thick and a super dense 2000 grams per square meter (they have the highest density of fibers we've ever seen in a pet bed).

The Small and Medium sizes have a rubber ribbed backing so they won't slip and slide on a hard floor.
