Can't keep your dog away from the pocket you put all those treats in? After years of treat handling inconvenience, renowned dog trainer Terry Ryan designed this treat pouch bait bag. In addition to creating quick and easy access to treats, the pouch closes with a touch, and stays closed, keeping dog noses out! The closing mechanism is a thin metal strip that is sewn into the top edge of the pouch. As the pouch is pulled open, the metal strip snaps in place and holds it open. A quick tap with a hand or elbow, and it snaps closed again. The Treat Bag comes with both an attached belt clip and an adjustable strap belt (max 44 inches in length). An additional storage pocket on the front is just the right size for money, ID cards, or other small items you might need to carry. Attached to the top is a handy key ring for clickers, whistles, and keys. The interior of the pouch can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Select from these colors: Includes a Training Tips booklet by Terry Ryan. Opening: 3 inches x 6 inches, Bag: 6 inches x 8 inches. Brand: Premier Pet Products Made in China

After comparing similar items, this is the one I chose and I am so glad. It has been so easy to use while training and I especially like the belt clip!

I love that this bag snaps open or closed with just one finger. This is a high quality bait bag designed with attention to detail. I love the strap & the belt clip & the extra compartments. I am very happy with my purchase. I've never seen a bait bag of comparable quality.

Great Treat Pouch!

I don't have a dog, but have been looking for a treat pouch for my horse, something that would either hold dry cookies or moist carrots. This seems to fit the bill perfectly! I LOVE it!

Really Nice

I absolutely love my Gentle Leader Treat Pouch, but because I depend on it so much the fabric has started tearing along where the metal openings are up top. I tried sewing it back up, but the metal opening at the top sawed through it. It is my only set back. I am still using it despite the tearing fabric. I am simply going to have to buy another one once my current one dies. It is such a brilliant tool for training!

Best training Aid

Easy access and size makes this a quick way to reward good behaviors. Has made a huge difference in keeping Logan on heel. I always use the belt - keeps the treats handy and love the ability to use it with only one hand. Great product.

Great Concept
Date: May 13, 2011 |

The concept of this treat bag is great. It is easy to open and close quickly to deliver treats to your dog on a moments notice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the first one I received had a defective hing (SitStay.com took care of the problem promptly by replacing the bag). Also, at first glance I said to myself that the cheap plastic belt clip would not last long and I was correct. It broke in less than 2 weeks. The included web belt appears that it will last.
Too bad that on such a nice product the manufacturer chose such a cheap plastic belt hook instead of a spring steel one that could hold up.

Great!

Love this treat pouch! After messing around with a drawstring one that took forever to close and that spilled the treats on the ground if you left it open, this one rocks. The hinge works with a simple touch, the opening is big enough to get the treats out easily, and I love that it comes with its own belt.
