If your dog loves to chew, these Jones Hooves are an excellent selection! Hooves are a great source of protein and dogs love them. Made from beef toenail (hooves)...thoroughly cleaned and oven baked. The nature of hooves is to have a smell when a dog chews on them. If you have a sensitive nose, you might not like this dog pleasing odor...it's almost guaranteed that your dog will! This might be an "outside" treat at your house.

A package of these will provide lots of good chew time! Chews are 4-6 inches in length. They are a natural product so the sizes and shapes will vary. Package of 6 hooves. It's always a good idea to supervise your dog when chewing.

Strong Urine Smell Date: August 8, 2011
Please be aware that this product smells terrible. It has a strong smell of urine. I had to take it away from my Spanish Water Dog before he could finish it. We will surely be returning it. YUCK!

 I would recommend this to a friend

Mom has bought these for us GSDs for years, and they are our very favorite. Have a dog with anxiety? Chewing is a good antidote, and these will absorb his attention and relieve it. Dog bored when you go away? He will chew these until he wants to sleep, and then wake up and chew some more! Want to reward dog for being good? Break out the hooves and it's party time! Do they stink? Well, yeah, to people maybe--but only when they're wet. And the stink doesn't seem to get into the carpet--when you pick it up, smell does not remain. Mom puts it into a plastic bag to contain the stink in between chewing sessions. These hooves last longer than any other chew for us heavy chewers, so they are a good value. Highly digestible, and keep tartar down on teeth, too. Worth the stink!
