With our Ready to Wear vest you'll be ready to go out the moment you open your package. We've taken our most popular vest colors/sizes and paired them with patches already sewn on. If you don't see what you need on this page, look at the rest of our Ready to Wear vests. We also have all our vests and patches available individually so you can create your own combination. Keep in mind that we do not do custom sewing. If you don't find what you need in our Ready to Wear area, you'll need to order the vests and patches you need and either glue them on yourself or find a local person that can sew them on for you.

The vest is designed for long lasting wear and comfort for your dog. A reflective strip is on each vest for added nighttime safety. You won't find a better fit for your dog any where. The colors are beautiful and the vest is durable for long service. You can hand wash the vest and hang it to dry. Snaps and zipper pulls are for easy open and close. The vest is often referred to as a service dog cape.

The most important thing you can do to make sure you order the right vest is to measure your dog using these instructions. If you don't measure, you're taking a chance that you'll have to return it and reorder. Measure your dog once and you'll be done!

Use a soft fabric measuring tape. Measure all the way around the rib cage, full circle. Just like a saddle fits a horse. Your dog must be standing. (see diagram). NOTE: If you have a really small dog, the Tiny vest can be altered to fit. Cut a strip out and sew it back together with a sewing machine. This will allow you to go down to a 9 inch girth.

What does the vest color mean?

Nothing really. There is no regulation that says your dog has to wear a certain color of service vest or cape. You simply get the one you like best.

We do not print or embroider. We leave that up to you so you can make sure it's done just the way you want it. We don't do any special orders for sewing patches.

Service Animal Definition The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. If your animal meets this definition, your animal is considered a service animal under the ADA regardless of whether the animal has been licensed or certified by a state or local government. Therapy Animal Definition A Therapy animal gives its heart to making people feel better. A Therapy Dog gives smiles and hope to people in hospitals and long term nursing care, children who need extra love, to shut-ins, and to anyone who needs the caring only a dog can give. Bless them every one.
