Payment Options

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, money orders, and wire transfers. We do not accept checks. You can pay with cash if you'd like. Choose money order as the payment method when you check out and then send in the cash.

Shipping

  • Want to know your shipping costs? Just add an item to your Shopping Cart and immediately enter your U.S. zip code in the shipping estimator. No need to give us your life's history to figure out what your shipping will be!
  • We ship most items within 2-3 business days.
  • If you give us an incorrect address and UPS has to correct it to be able to deliver, they will charge us $10. Then we will charge you $10. And your delivery will be delayed. Please be careful that your address is complete and correct.
  • We ship using UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day, UPS 2nd Day, and UPS Next Day. Your package is insured and trackable. We'll email you when your package ships and when it is delivered.
  • UPS Next Day, 2-day and 3-day orders submitted by 1:00 p.m. Central Time on a weekday usually ship the same day.
  • Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, APO and FPO, ...
    How to order if you are outside the lower 48 US states:
    Order online choosing UPS Ground or Pickup at warehouse. We'll change it to the US Post Office (USPS). Use an address that USPS will deliver to. We'll ship your package via the US Post Office using an insured method. Shipping costs in most cases will be between $6.00 and $14.95 depending on where you live. If your shipping cost is more than $14.95, we will contact you by email for your approval. If we don't hear back from you in 5 business days telling us to ship, we'll cancel the order.
  • We ship to the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Minimum shipping cost is US$60 USPS Express Mail. If shipping costs more than that, we'll email you a quote for your confirmation.
  • Minimum shipping to Canada is $30.00. Minimum shipping to other countries is $60.00.
  • Some items cannot fly and can only ship UPS Ground. Federal regulations exclude pressurized containers. If we see your order with one of these items, we’ll contact you with a change of shipping method.
  • We ship Monday through Friday. We need the weekends to spend with our families and dogs. We don't ship on these holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.

Back Orders

  • In some cases, you can add items that are back ordered (out of stock) to your shopping cart even if they are noted as 'out of stock'. This will delay your delivery. If you're in a hurry for your order, please order back ordered items separately.

Returns

Contact us within 5 days of delivery if we made a mistake. We'll fix it!
  • Did you receive a defective item?
  • Did we ship the wrong thing?
  • Did the order arrive damaged?


Exchanges

  • We don't exchange products. Please place a new order for the things you want and return your item(s) at your convenience.

Returns: 60 Day Time Limit

We have a 60 day time limit on returns. The item must be in brand new, unused condition and returned with its original packaging to get a refund. We do not pay or refund shipping costs.

We don't guarantee that your dog is going to like everything we have. Our dogs do like every thing we have. Dogs are like kids, they like most things, most of the time. If your dog doesn't like something, please do a good deed and donate it to your local rescue, they will love you for it.

Please follow these instructions to return something for a refund:

  1. Returned items must be in brand new condition to receive a refund. Absolutely no hair, dirt, slobber, teeth marks, or smoke smell.
  2. Pack the item(s) carefully into the original product packaging, if possible. Please include all the parts, instructions, and other bits and pieces.
  3. Use the Return Label on the invoice sent with the order (lower right corner). Don't attach any of the barcodes. If you don't have the original paperwork, include your shipping address name, address, phone number and email address so we can find your account.

Some notes to help you with a successful return:

  • Clean all hair from the items. We have enough here and don't need any more.
  • We suggest UPS or the Postal Service to return packages. We don't pay for return shipping.
  • Insure your packages! A refund will not be given for lost or damaged returns (it happens).
  • You'll receive a credit in the same form of payment originally used.
  • We'll email you when your return is processed. Please allow 5-7 days from the time we receive your return.
  • Edibles: 100% guaranteed! Return unused Edibles (no dog slobber, hair, or teeth marks). If your dog ate the bag of food or most of the treats, sorry, no refund. We test and try every Edible before it gets in the SitStay Store; everything is approved by the SitStay Dogs. We have to love it or we won't carry it. Suggestions: Order only the amount of Edibles you can use in 2 months time to insure you have the freshest food, treats, and chews for your dog. If you're trying something new, order a little bit.
  • Books, Videos and CDs: Books in their original new condition can be returned. If the spine is broken or the book is otherwise damaged, we will not refund your purchase but will donate the book to rescue. Videos, DVDs and CDs cannot be returned for any reason except manufacturer's defects.
  • Canine Cooler Beds: Canine Coolers that have been filled with water cannot be returned. If you return an unused bed, please do NOT pack with printed paper against the bed, it will bleed into the bed and you will not get a refund. All warranty issues will be handled by the manufacturer, not by SitStay.com. Return defective beds directly to the maker.
  • Clothing Items: Most returns are due to guessing at the size rather than taking the time to measure. Do not return items with any hair on them, you will not get a refund. (Really, no hair, no hair at all. Take the time to clean off all of the hair, we won't do it for you no matter how much we love your dog.) Do not return items that have hair on them, that are dirty, slobbery, teeth marked or items that smell like smoke. We will not refund you for these. No kidding. We won't.

SitStay Replay

With SitStay Replay, we'll ship you the dog supplies you want on your schedule and you'll save 10% off every SitStay Replay order.

If you find yourself ordering the same things month after month, SitStay Replay can save you some time and money! Here's how it works. You pick the items you want and the delivery schedule. We'll take care of the rest. You can use SitStay Replay for any items in our store. Maybe your dog chews up his ball every 8 weeks, no problem, now he can have a new one ready to go and you don't have to worry about an anxious pet. Need Flea & Tick spot-on's every 4 months? Done. Of course we can have your dogs' favorite foods and treats to you on your schedule. Rest, relax and enjoy your dog. We'll ship to you on your schedule and you'll save 10%.

Each time your SitStay Replay order is ready you'll get an email to let you know we're preparing your order. You'll get another when it ships and, if you use UPS shipping, you'll get another when your order is delivered. How's that for convenient?

To get started:

  • Write down the items you want delivered on a schedule. The Wish List feature of our store works wonderful for this.
  • Figure out the schedule you want. Every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, the first Friday of the month, every other month. We'll use your schedule. If you don't get it just right the first time, don't worry, we can tweak it once you get a better idea of your needs.
  • When do you want to start? Tomorrow, next week?
  • Now contact us and let us know your SitStay Replay schedule. We'll do the rest. If you've ordered with us before, we'll use the information on file to set your order up. If you haven't ordered before, include your address with your information. We'll collect your credit card info securely later. Don't include it when you contact us. You'll get to approve everything before we start.
  • That's it. You're done. No stress, no worries.

Once you get started you may find you need to adjust your schedule, postpone a delivery or change the items in your order. No problem, just contact us and let us know what you want to change. Do contact us before your next scheduled Replay date, it's hard to change once the SitStay Dogs are packing it. Since we already discount SitStay Replay orders, other sales and promotions won't apply.

"Wow" you ask? "Could it really be this simple?" Uh, yes, that's what we've been trying to tell you. It really is this simple!

Affiliate Program

  • Link to SitStay.com from your web site and receive 8% commission on orders that originate from your site.
  • If you are a member of Commission Junction, you can sign up from there.
  • We don't affiliate with sites that sell or list dogs or puppies for sale unless the dogs/puppies are neutered/spayed. While we know there are plenty of reputable breeders, we also know there are many that are not. This is a case where a few bad apples spoil the barrel. Rather than try to determine who is good and who might not be, we have decided not to have our advertising on breeder sites. We are sorry if this decision impacts you and we also appreciate your understanding.

Sorry, no catalog

  • Sorry ... we don't have a printed catalog. We add products so often that a printed catalog couldn't keep up. And it would be very expensive. So we save a few trees by not creating one. Heck, it wouldn't be near as much fun as the web site either. So if you have a friend or neighbor that doesn't have access to the Internet from home or work, bring them to your house or have them visit their local library. Then they can live the "SitStay Experience" as well!

  • SitStay supports Dog Rescue! Join our new Rescue Directory. It's free and it's easy to add your Dog Rescue organization's web site to our directory. We'll use this directory to randomly choose where donations are sent throughout the year. We do require a simple text link back from your website to http://rescue.sitstay.com. We do not list breeders or sites that list intact puppies or adults.
  • Throughout the year we will send product donations to randomly selected rescue organizations in our directory.
