This cooked dry kibble is enrobed with ingredients such as probiotics, prebiotics, and enzymes that are present in raw foods but destroyed through heat processing. Enzymes aid in better digestion, probiotics play a big part to insure a healthy immune system, and prebiotics help in growth and population of probiotics in the digestive tract. Nature's Variety food is made right here in the USA at USDA inspected facilities.
Nature's Variety kibble provides an organic source of over 70 trace minerals. A colloidal silicate called montmorillonite supplies important trace minerals. Many pet owners insist that the supplementation of these colloidal silicate minerals have helped produce better coats, weight gain, increase in milk production, better conception, and overall better health.
Nature's Variety Prairie Brand Dry Kibble Diets are designed to be rotated freely for variety and optimal nutrition. Emphasis is put on fresh meat as the first and prominent ingredient of each diet. The grains present in these diets are only whole grains; never inferior grain fractions. All Nature's Variety products are naturally preserved with vitamins and herbal extracts, and sealed in oxygen limiting packaging. The dog food is about 1/4 inch in diameter.
All Nature's Variety Prairie Brand Kibble Diets are now coated with freeze dried USDA raw chicken, beef or lamb along with liver and freeze dried Norwegian Salmon Oil. This coating greatly increases enzymes, unaltered bio-available amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals that may otherwise be degraded during the processing necessary to produce kibble diets. This cold processed, living food is made available in its natural, nutritious state - ready to release its health enhancing benefits when consumed by your pet.

Feeding Guidelines
Sudden changes in diet can sometimes result in digestive disturbances. Do not overfeed regardless of the pet’s acceptance and eagerness. Overfeeding is the most common cause of digestive upset. Always introduce any new diet over a period of days mixing with the present diet. Always keep fresh water available at all times and offer plenty of exercise.
Feeding amounts should be decreased in proportion to the amount of supplementation with other Nature’s Variety Diets and Treats. Daily portions may vary according to age, size, environment, temperament, breed and activity level.
