This Courtyard Kennel is a good looking pen. It's stable and heavier than most exercise pens so it won't move if most puppies or small dogs jump up on the sides. It can't contain a very clever climber or a jumper with time to figure out how to get out, so Jack Russell lovers beware. Bigger dogs who are trained to stay inside a pen will like they way they look in this pretty pen. Six panel configuration: each is 36 inches wide, 38 inches tall. The gate panel is really nice, open the door with one hand. Easy for you to open the door and step inside with a sleeping puppy or let the bigger dog walk in and out. Use it indoors or outdoors. The panels are durable, rust-resistant, galvanized steel and have a nice decorative silver crackle finish. This pen's construction stands up very well to the elements when used outdoors.

The pen has two sets of removable corner pins. A set of long pins stake the kennel into soft ground. The short pins are for indoor or hard surfaces. The kennel design is quick and easy to put together, no tools required. If you need a larger pen, put two Courtyard Kennels together. The individual panels are easily added or removed to change the size and shape of the unit. The Courtyard Kennel can be used as a portable 18-foot barrier fence, you'll need some way to attach it at both ends if you don't want the dogs pushing around the ends of it. We use it as a free standing fence on our 10 foot wide deck. Stores flat. Pretty is as pretty does. This pen is solid.
