    These treats are fantastic. We rescued a German Shorthaired Pointer, Ziva, who was abused and abandoned. Her previous owner also failed to do any obedience training with her. The first few days she would not take food from our hands and would certainly not play. After using these treats, she would; sit, stay, shake, jump, lay down, crawl, and back up. These treats also made crate training very easy, despite her intense separation anxiety. She also loves to track and fetch after only a few training sessions with these treats in my pocket. Fantastic high-value rewards. You will definitely notice a difference between these and your average, run-of-the-mill dry biscuit treats.

Click to enlarge Chipper's Dog Treats are 100% human grade meats. All natural with no additives or preservatives. The meat is dehydrated while still fresh and then vacuum packed to retain all of the flavor and nutrients. When you're ready to use, simply add water and wait until the meat is rehydrated (about 1-2 hours). The result is a high protein treat....soft enough to chew, but dry to the touch.

Beef heart is a muscle meat with high protein content, and is very high in iron, riboflavin, selenium, and vitamin B12. It has the same nutritional value as any beef meat, but with very little fat compared to other cuts. The 2.3 ounce package makes 4.3 ounces of moist, soft treats.

The treats are irregular shaped nuggets of meat, from about 1/4 to 1/2 inch around. A typical bag contains about 100 treats. Great for agility, tracking, obedience, the confirmation ring, or in any situation when you really need your dog's attention (or just for being cute!)

Before opening
Store in a cool, dry place for up to 12 months. Freeze for best long term storage.

Preparation
Add 4-6 tablespoons of water (2-3 ounces) to the zip lock bag containing Chipper's Dog Treats. (hot water works faster than cold). Close bag and distribute water evenly. In 1-2 hours, treats become plump and soft. For best results wait overnight before using.

Storage
After adding water, refrigerate when not using. Treats stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. Freeze for longer storage.
